FYI: I upgraded my Lead-Acid battery to Lithium-Ion on my 2019 Model 3. There's a company called Ohmmu which sells: 12V Lithium Battery for Tesla Model 3 SKU: T12403-BH Not affiliated with them, but the battery also has Bluetooth for those who want to keep a close eyes on the stats. So far, no issues here. They provide install videos; to be honest mine took less than 15 min to complete the replacement and I did it myself. Not sure if Tesla Service will exchange for you as it's a liability issue.

I haven't had a flat tire in 40 years. But it would figure that if I take my Y on a road trip.....💥 I just bought a MODERN SPARE after driving the Y for two years with only the Tesla slime kit. Also, these cars are very low to the ground, so a low profile jack is necessary. YES... I am considering carrying a low profile FLOOR JACK for just in case. ( add 100 pounds to the vehicle gross weight with all this stuff in the trunk! ) The beltway around my city is usually where I find Teslas parked on the shoulder with flat tires. Very few tire shops here will touch a Tesla. AAA just told me that they won't touch a Tesla except for doing vehicle inspections. This was my RED PILL moment. So, be prepared!

Ehh I would rather buy high karat gold jewelry and expensive bags to enjoy. There’s no attractiveness in getting Electric Vehicle cars in California when the gasoline in California is still relatively affordable for my budget. Plus, electric charging stations sound like a pain and inconvenience. I’m wealthy but I don’t want that kind of responsibility or hassle. I may end up using a baseball bat on my Tesla Car if that kind of inconvenience happens to me. Maybe in China it’s OK but owning an electric car in California seems like a giant problem and dismal prospect. Until these inconveniences are resolved, I’ll stick on driving my Frugal Honda.

As far as the cyber truck in California... California classifies all trucks as commercial. So it's not Tesla. Just another way California taxes people to death. They might also do that for larger cars.

You don’t need Mop pads. The dyson robot is meant to compliment your larger corded vacuum. It’s pure lazy mess when a vacuum doubles as a mop.

Looks like there's still a lot of work needed for PowerShare to match the capabilities of a Powerwall installation. As it's implemented now, CT with PowerShare will unlikely take away market share from Powerwall. Maybe that's by design, especially since PowerShare supposedly works with any homes with Powerwalls. It would be interesting to know if Tesla will allow PowerShare to participate in VPP and send stored power back to the grid during extreme demand periods in the future. Perhaps that's possible for homes that already have Powerwalls?

Wow, impressed with how detailed you found out the differences. I traded in my 2022 Y with a 2024 7 seater. Getting it with the tax incentive and the 0.99% apr made it worth upgrading financially and for all the improvements you mentioned.

All Tesla's need one important item and that is 12v battery monitor. Last week a mom but baby in thr car seat walked around to get in the car and thr doors would not open the battery was dead. She called 911 the fire department arrive and broke the window. There is a video on youtube about this. It happen in Arizona.

No silver wheels, thank god? LMAO. I cannot stand black wheels. They look douchey and you can't see the wheel design because black absorbs light instead of reflecting it. Why would you want your expensive wheels hidden? Black is what fat people wear to hide their fat. Silver wheels are the only way to go, for me. If I got a car with black wheels, I'd have them painted silver, immediately.

They both have Hardware 4…….according to Elon Hardware 5 will be in cars 18 months from now.

It is still a gas friendly estimation, when you have startet at home you had a complete fill for half the price in your battery while the Gas car was most certainly filled at the gas station.

Do you have any recommendations for a place that can go through a 2020 Model 3 and make changes to eliminate sources of rattles? The car is great, but it seems to have rattles and it drives me nuts. I think it might be the B pillars that rattle. Maybe there is a way to put felt or rubber around the clips? I would love to find a service that could just got through and "rattle proof" the car. I took my car into Tesla service at least 4 times and they never took care of the problem. I gave up trying with them.
